To illustrate our approach better, we have referred to the well-used Porter’s Value Chain concept below. The diagram presents a single aspect of how we can assist organisations in visualising and achieving a robust ESG framework, manage their exposure to transitional and acute sustainability-related changes, and effectively address regulatory and market-driven forces. This diagram also highlights the degree to which the organisation needs to prepare when complying with latest sustainability standards.

In the above example, we have used ‘suppliers’ as an example to demonstrate how each primary and support activity within an organization's value chain interacts with this critical component. The elements highlighted in green represent considerations that may be relevant to the organization—depending on materiality—when aligning with globally recognized regulatory or voluntary reporting frameworks such as CSRD, TCFD, IFRS and GRI.

At ROSS Services, we incorporate all these considerations into our comprehensive service offering. We support organisations in planning, phasing, implementing, integrating, and reporting when selecting business intelligence (BI) tools or data visualization platforms.

During project initiation, our experts assess all systems currently used within the organisation for data gathering, recording, processing, and monitoring. In some cases, this may involve an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system; in others, it may include a mix of manual and automated systems and processes. We tailor our approach to ensure seamless integration regardless of the existing data infrastructure.

We utilize APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) within your existing systems or work directly with SQL databases, spreadsheets, ERP platforms, Microsoft Dataverse, local databases, or other proprietary applications and websites to develop a seamless interface.

In cases where information is recorded manually, we design systems governed by clear policies that can be automated using tools such as Microsoft Power Apps. For example, if your branch offices submit energy usage data via Excel spreadsheets, our automation solution can extract the relevant information directly from invoices or a Building Management System (BMS).

This approach minimises duplication of effort, reduces the risk of material errors, and significantly accelerates the data processing, reporting, and later verification/validation/assurance workflow.

We offer three service delivery models to suit varying levels of client involvement and resource capacity:
